Fitted with closed-loop Reverse Osmosis water treatment, the machine is employed for final cleaning of very thin gauge stainless steel sheet, chemically processed to create bespoke surface finishes for architectural and other designer appications. Three additional conveying stations buffer the cleaned sheets prior to inspection, packing and shipping.

 

In close liaison with RIMEX management, old equipment was removed and the new plant installed and commissioned in a single weekend for a seamless handover with no disruption to production schedules.

 

The diversification from cleaning and drying glass sheets required some special modifications, due to the flexibility of the metal. The ASHTON design team rose to the challenge, adding a further new string to their bow.
