The new government, led by PM Essam Sharaf, is in the news encouraging economic growth and investment from UAE, the US and the European Community. Finance Minister Samir Radwan has been reported to be promoting technology exchange and investment with France, and ground-breaking projects like the erection of a 1000 Megawatt wind-generated power station project steered by Dr. Hassan Younis, the Minister for Energy, and an advanced photovoltaic energy plant in the Aswan region, are typical examples of the country's determination to forge ahead with growth and innovation and vision for a prosperous future.

Managing Director Eng. Seif Eissa summarised;
"AluNile was founded in 1999 as a continuation of Napco, the leading Aluminium fabricator in Egypt from 1977 until 1989. AluNile is specialized in Architectural Aluminium systems such as Structural Glazing, Curtain walls, Skylights, Metal Claddings, Doors and Windows.
We have become one of the leaders in this field in Egypt. In 2008 we built our first glass factory that includes a flat and bent tempering system, a flat laminating line, and automated IG line, as well as a cutting line and the latest waterjet cutting system.

Steve Ashton, managing Director of Ashton:
"We are so proud to have AluNile on our list of prestigious customers. Their investment and expansion will underline their presence as one of the most modern facilities in the region and reinforce their reputation as a leading force in the Middle East"
