Based on the principle of reverse osmosis, the system requires no hazardous or costly chemicals to run.

It is equipped with a pre-filter, fine filter and self-regenerating water softener, timed not to interrupt normal production periods, to protect the RO membrane, and an electronic monitoring probe which continuously oversees the water quality and switches the plant on and off at need.

In applications after edgeworking or drilling, ASHTON’s R.O. can be set in a closed loop in the final rinse zone of horizontal or vertical washers.
