MIRRORMASTA-PRO ™ NEW SAFETY BACKING FILM APPLICATOR

 .

Whether mixed sizes from optimised cutting, or long runs of equal sizes, all are quickly and efficiently processed without trim removal or waste disposal. Another fully automatic solution from Ashton Industrial in cooperation with Universal Laminators.

.

As a natural progression of Ashton Industrial’s OPTISTREAM ™ applicator of protective film on both sides of Insulating Glass Units (IGUs) this innovative MIRRORMASTA™ design combines two singlesided film applicators to automatically apply high-tack anti-shatter safety film to the paint side of mirrors.

.

Westcoast from InfeedThe patented MicroCut slitting system separates filmed mirrors nose-to-tail fully automatically regardless of size or production sequence, for example in optimised cutting sequence direct from breakout.

.

Side trims are eliminated by automatically aligning the long edges to alternating datums, so any excess film overlaps and remains in the centre of the mirror area.

.

No sticky offcuts or trims to dispose of, no manual intervention, no frequent film reel changes….direct from breakout to finished safety backed mirror.

.

Fast cycle times, zero labour, eliminated waste disposal, short runs or even random size processing.

ONE FOR THE GUYS WITH OCCASIONAL OR SMALLER RUNS AND CUT-TO-SIZE PRODUCTION

.
If you apply high-tack anti-shatter safety film to the back of mirrors, you know just how difficult and frustrating it can be to try to get it on the glass crease-free. And what a task it is to get it back off.

Working width 1320mm (52”).

.
Optional attractively priced infeed and outfeed tables, and spare mandrels if you wish to load more than one width of film.
